ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Two Strasburg teenagers were arrested in connection with two separate incidents regarding school threats.

Shenandoah County Sheriff Tim Carter reported that the first incident pertained to a Snapchat post that was created by a 15-year-old girl. She faces two charges, including threats to bomb or damage buildings.

Carter stated that the second incident involved a verbal statement, pertaining to school violence or threats made by a 16-year-old boy while he was riding a school bus. Other students then reported the statement to school officials and the Sheriff’s Office.

He faces one count of threats to bomb or damage buildings.

Both individuals were taken to the Juvenile Intake in Woodstock.
