HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Two Harrisonburg bakeries have been named “Best Bakeries in the South” by Southern Living Magazine.

Heritage Bakery & Cafe, which is attached to the Harrisonburg Visitor Center in Downtown Harrisonburg, is a mother-daughter owned bakery and tearoom. Heritage offers a different pastry menu every day, and breakfast, lunch, small bites, and drinks. They also offer catering and wedding cakes.

Magpie Diner was also featured which is located on West Gay Street in Downtown Harrisonburg. They offer a changing menu for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Cocktails and gluten free options are also available.
