WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) — Two men were taken into custody this week on charges related to property taken from a neighborhood in Waynesboro.

Captain Benjamin Lemons reports that 40-year-old Thomas Garrett of Afton and 30-year-old Devin Harris were arrested Tuesday as alleged suspects in a case dating back to September 23rd of last year, when authorities responded to a call regarding a stolen wheelchair ramp in the 700-block of North Bayard Avenue.

Garrett and Harris face charges including Felony Grand Larceny and Obtaining Money by False Pretenses when they appear next month in Waynesboro General District Court.

According to online records, Garrett has been released on his own recognizance.
