STAUNTON, VA (Rocktown Now) — Alleged car thieves were arrested in Staunton.
According to the Staunton Police Department, Nysiah Plaisance of Staunton was arrested December 5th as the result of an ongoing investigation into multiple larcenies from vehicles that occurred between September 30th and November 24th of this year.
The 19-year-old from Staunton was ultimately charged with two counts of petit larceny, two counts of entering a vehicle with intent to commit a crime, possession of burglary tools, wearing a mask in public, credit card theft, and other related charges.
On December 20th, a 17-year-old juvenile male who, authorities say, is connected to these cases was also arrested and charged with eight counts of credit card theft, two counts of grand larceny, nineteen counts of petit larceny, and twenty-six counts of entering a vehicle with intent to commit a crime.
