ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – A Turner Ashby High School graduate has been named the 2024 Virginia Farm Bureau Federation Outstanding Young Agriculturalist.

Grayson Long won the honor last month during the federation’s Young Farmers Summer Expo in Nelson County.

Long, who has served as president of the Keezletown 4H Club and Massanutten Technical Center FFA, will receive a $1,500 scholarship and will receive a travel package to the Annual Convention in Hot Springs in December.

Other finalists include Carrie Miller of Rockingham County and Kerrigan Bauserman of Shenandoah County. They received $250 each.
