ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — A trial date has been set for the Rockingham County woman charged in the shooting death of a Waynesboro man earlier this year.

According to online records, Kaylee Grace Turner of Timberville had a status hearing Wednesday morning in Waynesboro Circuit Court and a judge set a June 23rd date for the start of her trial, which is expected to last three days. Before that, she will have an arraignment hearing on June 2nd.

The 21-year-old Turner faces two felony charges for her alleged role in the shooting incident that took place May 25th in the 13-hundred block of D Street. The victim, 22-year-old Seth Wayne Wallace, died a few weeks later.

The other person charged in the case, 23-year-old Dustin Allen Dove of McGaheysville, faces a count of first-degree murder and his trial is scheduled to start next April.
