Treva Mae Reedy, 75, of Harrisonburg, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Treva was born February 8, 1949 in West Virginia to the late Russ Lee and Glenna Mae Vandevander. She attended Harrisonburg First Assembly of God. Mrs. Reedy worked for several convenience stores locally. She was an outgoing person and loved meeting people.

She leaves behind her husband, Leon Weldon Reedy; sons, Floyd Reedy (Stephanie) and Scottie Reedy (Rhonda); daughter, Dottie Sly (Gene) a nephew they raised as a son, Bobby Hartman (Gina); grandchildren, Tristan Sly, Brenlee Reedy, Kierstin Reedy and Keairria Reedy, Christopher Knight; and one sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 2 p.m., at the Harrisonburg Chapel of Kyger Funeral Home with Reverends Trevor Whetzel and Jeff Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1-2 p.m., prior to the funeral service.
