HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – It won’t be long before folks look to dispose of what’s left of their Christmas tree, and the City of Harrisonburg is ready with a solution that might seem like a late holiday present.

Public Works has announced that tree collection will now be included in the new bulk and yard debris scheduling system.

Residents can schedule trees for pickup starting January 5th at HarrisonburgVA.gov.

Those who like a more immediate and hands-on approach may drop off trees at the Recycling Convenience Center during regular business hours.
