BROADWAY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Broadway’s Town Council has permanently changed the schedule of its organizational and regular meetings.

The council unanimously passed an ordinance to amend town code and permanently change regular meeting dates from the first Tuesday of the month to the third to enable staff more time to prepare financial and departmental data from the previous month.

The new schedule goes into effect in February with meetings maintaining a 7pm start time.

Council work sessions will take place the Thursday preceding each regular Town Council meeting.
