WAYNESBORO VA (Rocktown Now) — The Wayne Theatre presents summer events to attend July 7-30.
The Wayne Theatre’s mission is to provide diverse programs with something for everyone. From classic plays to contemporary musicals, they have a variety of events for the community.
The Theatre’s July events feature:
- “Key Largo” (film) on Monday, July 7 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm.
- “Elemental” (film) on Wednesday, July 9 at 10:00am until 1:00pm.
- Studio Wayne Improvisator (live performance) on Friday, July 11 at 8:00pm.
- “The Big Chill” (film) on Monday, July 14 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm.
- Summer Movies Series: “The Lego Movie 2” (film) on Wednesday, July 16 from 10:00am until 1:00pm.
- An Evening with Patsy Cline starring Jill Spiecker (concert) on Friday, July 18 at 7:30pm.
- “Captain Blood” (film) on Monday, July 21 at 2:00pm until 7:00pm.
- Summer Movie Series: “Turning Red” (film) on Wednesday, July 23 at 10:00am until 1:00pm.
- “The Monuments Men” (film) on Monday, July 28 at 2:00pm until 7:00pm.
- Summer Movie Series: “The Wild Robot” (film) on Wednesday, July 30 at 10:00am until 1:00pm
Also on July 30, “Wayne on Main” concert featuring Matt Johnson begins at 6:00pm outside of the Wayne Theatre.
