WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) – The Wayne Theatre will present The Spirit of Scotland Show on Thursday, October 16, 2025, with two live performances at 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Direct from Edinburgh’s historic Old Town, this production brings the music, dance, and culture of Scotland to the Wayne Stage for a one-day engagement as part of the Theatre’s ongoing 10th/100th anniversary season.

“This is a very special opportunity to experience Scotland’s cultural heritage in a professional and authentic production,” said Tracy Straight, Executive Director of the Wayne Theatre in a release. “We are pleased to bring this performance to our stage as part of a season that honors global traditions and celebrates our own local legacy.”

The performance is presented as part of the Wayne Theatre’s 2025-2026 season, which commemorates the 10th anniversary of its current establishment as a performing arts organization and the 100th anniversary of the original Wayne Theatre, first opened in 1926.
