WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) – The Bowman House Bed and Breakfast in Waynesboro has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Virginia Tourism Corporation’s Microbusiness Marketing Leverage Program to support its current Jazz It Up campaign.
Earlier this year, The Bowman House hosted its first-ever Jazz It Up evening featuring live jazz, New Orleans-inspired food, and a “Friends and Family” discount. According to a release, proceeds from the evening benefited the Shenandoah Valley Art Center of Waynesboro. The “Friends and Family” discount, which offers guests a third consecutive night free when booking two nights, continues through January 31, 2026, as the Jazz It Up campaign continues.
“This grant represents an exciting investment in Waynesboro’s growing tourism economy,” said Stephanie Duffy, Assistant Director of Economic Development and Tourism. “The Jazz It Up at the Bowman House event not only celebrated our community’s vibrant arts scene but also supported local businesses and underscores our commitment to establishing Waynesboro as a premier cultural destination for residents and visitors alike.”
