ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Rockingham Harrisonburg SPCA and Emblaze Marketing announced the inaugural Sunny Side Up Festival, a brand‑new brunch‑themed outdoor celebration taking place Saturday, May 9, 2026, on the scenic grounds of Alpine Goat Brewery. The event will run from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Opening the event is Mike Davis, followed by a performance from Bon Journey, the Pittsburgh‑based tribute band known for their blend of Bon Jovi and Journey classics.
“This festival is a celebration of music, community, and of course, family and friends. By supporting this event and purchasing a ticket, you show your compassion and generosity,” said Huck Nawaz, Executive Director of the RHSPCA in a release. “Every ticket sold helps us continue our mission to support animals in need, and we’re grateful to bring people together for a cause that makes a huge difference for the animals and our community.”
Tickets go on sale Friday, February 27, at noon for just $10. Prices increase to $15 starting March 27 and will be $20 at the gate.
Sarah Elson, festival producer/founder of Emblaze Marketing, said, “We highly recommend getting your tickets early. Not only is it a great deal, but we do anticipate a sold-out event, which is quite exciting.”
