LURAY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Page County Commonwealth’s Attorney Armanda Clymer announced in a release today that her office had approved charges to be placed against three students in an incident that occurred at Page County High School.
Clymer stated, “There has been a widespread discussion in the community and on social media about an incident that recently occurred at Page County High School. While the allegations are serious, the facts do not match the rumor mongering that is frankly unfair to alleged suspects and victims alike. Our office has spoken directly with the alleged victims and their parents and there is no credible evidence that any sexual assault occurred as has been the subject of wild and rampant speculation.”
Clymer continued by saying their office has directed the Page County Sheriff’s Office to obtain five juvenile petitions against three separate juveniles for two separate alleged incidents of assault and battery of a mob.
