AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) – It is two and a half years in jail for the Stuarts Draft man who was arrested last spring following a domestic dispute.
According to online records, Raymond Gregory Allen reached a plea deal with prosecutors during a hearing this morning in Augusta County Circuit Court.
The 36-year-old Allen pleaded guilty to malicious wounding and in return, prosecutors dropped the three other charges.
A judge then sentenced him to 10 years in prison with seven and a half of those years suspended.
The charges stemmed from an incident last May 9th in which Allen shot at a woman through the front door of a home in the 800 block of Wilda Road.
The woman suffered a cut on her head that was caused by flying debris.
