HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – The manager of the Mount Clinton Pike Strite’s Legendary Donuts location is in critical condition after an undisclosed accident earlier this week.

According to a statement posted to the company’s social media, Andrea Dawn, daughter of owners Carl and Miriam Strite, was airlifted to Virginia Commonwealth University burn center in Richmond yesterday after suffering third-degree burns over 50-percent of her body.

Dawn will reportedly be in a sedated state for the next several days.

The statement ends with a call to community prayer for Dawn and her family.
