STRASBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident regarding school threats at Strasburg High School.
Sheriff Tim Carter stated in a news release that the incident pertained to a written threat by a suspected 15-year-old boy from Strasburg.
The threat made by the juvenile occurred in a classroom, where the threat of school violence was allegedly typed on another student’s school-issued Chromebook. The threat was then reported, and the juvenile was charged with two counts, including threats to bomb or damage buildings.
A Detention Order was issued on Wednesday, and the student was taken to a Juvenile Detention Center and is awaiting a hearing.
