AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Staunton Montessori School will be relocating from Fishersville to Staunton this summer.

Officials say the school is relocating to the historic Statler Brothers Complex at 501 Thornrose Avenue and will open in late August.

In a post on social media, school officials said the move will allow them to transition from a facility that has reached its limits to a larger campus that “truly reflects their mission.”

The four buildings will have room for 10 classrooms, a gym, a stage, and a library and will have direct access to Gypsy Hill Park for nature education.

Officials say they will finish their school year in Fishersville before moving this summer.
