STANARDSVILLE, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) — It is a year of probation and a $500 fine for the Standardsville man who was arrested earlier this year for leaving a large pile of trash along the road.
However, Travis Michael Moore will not serve any jail time after he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of illegal dumping during a hearing yesterday in Greene County District Court.
Online records indicated that Moore will also have to pay over $100 in court costs.
Moore was arrested back on February 16th after the sheriff’s office had received a call about a pile of trash that had been dumped along South River Road and Millside Road.
