AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Stable Craft Brewing has announced a new leadership team and six additional luxury lodging suites in Waynesboro.
The new roles arrive on the heels of Craig Nargi’s 26-year journey at the helm, where he established brands like Mossy Creek Catering and Hermitage Hill Farm.
Nargi said in a release, “Stable Craft Brewing has always been about community, quality, and innovation. As we hand over the reins, the foundation is set for new heights, and we’re excited to see how this enthusiastic new team will embrace our mission.”
The newly appointed leadership will be led by Greg R. Matherly who brings over 15 years of hospitality expertise. Matherly previously worked as Director of Hospitality at Devils Backbone Brewing Company. “We’re not just changing leadership; we’re igniting a renewed focus on exceptional experiences for our guests,” Matherly stated.
Alongside Matherly, the new team includes:
– Adam LaRose, Executive Chef, known for his culinary training at the esteemed Culinary Institute of America and was a recent chef at Mill Street Grill.
– Brian Dressler, Head Brewer, has experience developing specialized beers for notable clients, including the NHL’s New Jersey Devils. “I’m thrilled to bring my passion for craftsmanship to Stable Craft Brewing,” shared Dressler.
– Clay Hardy, Tasting Room Manager, who will create engaging experiences for visitors while enhancing the overall atmosphere of the tasting room.
In addition to its leadership transformation, Stable Craft Brewing has unveiled six luxurious lodging suites, designed to provide an immersive farm experience that complements its agritourism efforts. Visitors can expect accommodations perfect for weddings, corporate retreats, and getaways.
Stable Craft is also enhancing employee benefits, including health & dental insurance, 401(k) plans, holiday and paid time off, and focused professional development opportunities. “Investing in our team strengthens our mission and ensures we attract and retain top talent,” Matherly noted.
