ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Two Spotswood High School seniors will be on “Good Morning America” early next week.
According to a Facebook post from Massanutten Regional Governor’s School, the two seniors – Pria Dua and Elizabeth Kidd – who also attend the Governor’s School, will be featured in a segment during the show’s broadcast next Monday. Dua and Kidd were interviewed for their work on the documentary “Knocking Down Walls,” which explores the first cases implementing the Brown v. Board of Education (1954) Supreme Court decision in Virginia.
The episode will recognize the 70th anniversary of the Brown decision. The segment featuring Dua and Kidd will air between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. next Monday, May 20.
