HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Harrisonburg Public Works Department’s ongoing snow removal efforts continue to close targeted streets scattered across the downtown area.

One of those streets is North Federal Street between Wolfe and Elizabeth Streets.

The short roadway west of the parking deck will be closed all day Friday.

Public Works officials ask residents to avoid those areas if possible, and to be patient as crews continue clearing snow and ice throughout the city.
