WEYERS CAVE VA: (ROCKTOWN NOW) – A small aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing Friday morning after losing power shortly after departing from Shenandoah Valley Airport. The plane, carrying two occupants, went down in a field near Weyers Cave at approximately 10:45 a.m., striking a fence before coming to a stop. Fortunately, neither individual was injured in the incident. Virginia State Police are currently investigating the crash, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has been notified.
