SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public about an up-and-coming TikTok challenge that local high school seniors are participating in.

In a release, the SCSO said the Shenandoah County School Administration said that their students have been playing a game known as “Senior Assassin”. The game involves students tracking and “eliminating” each other using water guns, with the goal of being the last player remaining.

The SCSO said that they have started receiving calls about suspicious behavior involving students sneaking through neighborhoods or hiding in unusual places.

The SCSO would like to remind students playing: Your safety and the safety of others is the priority.

If you do choose to play, PLEASE remember:

  • Do not trespass—especially at night. If someone asks you to leave, do so immediately.
  • Use brightly colored water toys. Avoid anything that could be mistaken for a real weapon.
  • Do not wear masks or dark/camouflage clothing.
  • Do not play on school property; do not bring water guns or Nerf guns to school.
If you see something suspicious, don’t confront anyone yourself. Contact the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office at (540)459-6100.
