HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until August 10 at 4:00 PM.

The Warning has been issued in the following areas in Virginia:

  • Western Rockingham County in western Virgina
  • Northwestern Augusta County in western Virginia
  • The City of Harrisonburg in western Virginia
  • Highland County in western Virginia

At 2:57 PM, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Upper Tract to Snowshoe, moving southeast at 60 mph.
