HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Judgement day has been delayed for the Northern Virginia man who was convicted of stealing a modular home off of a Harrisonburg lot.
Online records show that Friday’s sentencing hearing for Stephen Rusiecki was continued until August 23rd in Rockingham County Circuit Court. It is the second time that his sentence has been delayed.
Rusiecki, 62, was found guilty last September on one count of grand larceny. That charge stemmed from an incident in October of 2021, when he stole a modular unit from Clayton Homes on South Main Street.
He was arrested in Amherst after police located the stolen home on a property in Halifax County.
