ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) – Security cameras continue to be installed in Rockingham County Public Schools.
Superintendent Dr. Larry Shifflett told school board members at this week’s meeting that there are just two schools left before the installation is complete.
“I’ve had a chance to look at the cameras as well,” Shifflett said. “I think it’s going to be a great tool, another layer to help us keep our schools safe.”
The only schools that do not have security cameras are Massanutten Technical Center and McGaheysville Elementary School and Dr. Shifflett said officials are waiting for some renovations to be completed before installing them.
