HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Rotary Club of Harrisonburg is hosting its annual Great Day of Sharing today.

Coordinator Wayne Witmer is asking folks to stop by at either the Wal-Mart in Dayton or the Wal-Mart on Burgess Road as well as Sharp Shopper on South Main Street and help support their efforts to fill the shelves of local food pantries.

Great Day of Sharing runs until 5 p.m. Friday afternoon. The pantries who are benefitting include Salvation Army, West Rockingham, Blessed Sacrament, Hope Distributed, Emmanuel and Massanutten Presbyterian.
