Ronnie Leon Moyers, Sr., 76, a resident of Singers Glen, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024 at his home.

Mr. Moyers was born on September 22, 1948 in Rockingham County and was a son of the late Chester and Edith Bridges Moyers. He worked at Rockingham Construction for 53 years. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of the Lick Hollow Hunt Club. He attended Mt. Zion Church of the Brethren.

On January 23, 1966, he married Charlotte Faye Grogg Moyers who survives.

Also surviving are his children, Ronnie L. “Buck” Moyers Jr. of Singers Glen, Sherry Lantz and husband Trent of Bergton; son-in-law Michael “Mike” Hartman of Rockingham; siblings, Delores Brown of Singers Glen, Dennis Moyers of Harrisonburg; grandchildren, Colby T. Moyers, Hunter Lantz, Tanner Lantz; and great grandchildren, Lane Richard and Sawyer Graber.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Moyers was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Lynn Hartman.

Following cremation, the family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately.
