HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – Curtis Cherebin will be Rocktown High School’s first Head Varsity Football Coach as the Rocktown Raptors for the team’s inaugural football season.
According to a press release from Harrisonburg City Public Schools, the 2024 season will mark Cherebin’s 11th year coaching varsity high school football. He joined HCPS in 2023 as a defensive back and wide receiver coach for Harrisonburg High School, and was also the Head JV Coach.
Cherebin started his coaching career in 2014 at Charlottesville High School as the wide receiver and outside linebacker coach. He later served as defensive back and running back coach, Special Teams Coordinator, and then as the team’s Defensive Coordinator until leaving for Harrisonburg High School.
