Rockingham County Property Tax and Stormwater Fee States on the Way

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) – Statements for this year’s Real Estate and Personal Property Taxes and Stormwater Fees are in the mail for Rockingham County residents.

Officials urge those who do not receive statements to immediately notify the County Treasurer’s Office because failing to receive a notice does not exempt residents from paying taxes, fees, or late penalties.

All Real Estate and Personal Property taxes and Stormwater fees are due on or before Friday, December 5th.

Those who fail to meet the deadline will have a 10% penalty added to the amount due, plus additional interest charges at a rate of 10% per annum.
