ELKTON, VA (Rocktown Now) — Members of the community, local government, Elkton Volunteer Fire Company, and Rockingham County Fire & Rescue gathered on Saturday, October 19 for the ceremonial opening of the new Elkton Emergency Response Station.

Chief Holloway spoke about the benefits of a combination career and volunteer system, and how the new station will serve the citizens of the town of Elkton and greater Rockingham County.

Elkton Chief Kibler shared the history of the fire company and his vision for the future made possible by the construction of the new station.
