ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Rockingham County Board of Supervisors has announced their new County Administrator.

Casey Armstrong will take over next month after Stephen King retires. King has been with the county since 2000 an announced his retirement in October.

Armstrong is currently the Assistant County Administrator for Economic Development. He has been with the county since 2013, when he started as Director of Community Development.

The new role will be effective for Armstrong on January 11.
