Robert Lee Breeden, Sr., 77, of Elkton, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024. He was born December 23, 1946 in Rockingham County, Virginia and was the son of the late Russell Edward Breeden, Sr. and Eula Marie Moubary Breeden.

Robert was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish and collect guns. He was a member of the Massanutten Hunting Club for many years. He loved cutting wood and he loved being out in nature but especially spending time with his family. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Ball and husband, Pete of Elkton; son, Robert “Robbie” Breeden, Jr. and companion, Crystal “Crissy” Dofflemyer of Elkton; brothers, Richard Breeden and wife, Lele, Eddie Breeden, Teddy Ray Breeden and wife, Sandy, Donnie Breeden and Ronnie Breeden; grandchildren, Melanie Johnson, Heather Ball and fiancé, John Hensley, Whitney Hensley and husband, Dylan, Karissa Dofflemyer; great-grandchildren, Addison Brown, Abel Johnson, Kynzlee Johnson, Bryson Dorman, Avery Dorman, Jaxon Hensley, Gavin Hensley, Gabby Hensley and Georgia Hensley; special friends from Massanutten Hunting; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A visitation will be conducted 6 to 8 p.m., Friday May 10, 2024 at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
