HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Rockingham Harrisonburg SPCA will be waiving adoption fees for service members for the month of November.

In a social media post, the organization announced they are waiving fees for active duty, veterans, and first responders “in gratitude for their service.”

The RHSPCA currently has over 75 cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, and a rabbit up for adoption. If you’re a service member, all you need to do is bring an ID with you to show your service.

The shelter also says that they need fosters to help with housing the animals temporarily. You can find more information at their website rhspca.org.
