Joey
Hello there, the name’s Joey. My name may come off like I’m a tiny guy but I’m the gentlest giant around. I’m still young, full of life and ready to explore the world even though I’m a bit shy. New places can be a bit scary for me, but I’m still learning how to be brave. Once I loosen up, I have a goofy side too, which is great when I’m playing with my fellow furry friends. I’m sweet and friendly, and I promise to be your loyal companion when the time comes around. I may be a little nervous at first, but with a little time and patience, I’ll be your best friend in no time. I’m just looking for a loving family who will help me come out of my shell and show me the world isn’t so scary after all. Why don’t you come by the shelter today and say hello?
RHSPCA is starting the “Name Your Price” adoption special today as part of BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters promotion. Adopters can choose what they pay during this adoption special which runs July 8th-31st and applies to adult dogs, adult cats, kittens, and small critters. Available animals can be viewed at www.rhspca.org/adopt.
RHSPCA has also launched a Mutt-urity Matters campaign to highlight the benefits of adopting an adult dog in hopes of giving them better visibility. Dog intakes have increased by 25% this year, so they’re raising awareness and adoptions through this campaign. Additional details can be found at www.givebutter.com/mutturitymatters.
