ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) – Ongoing paving operations continue to delay traffic in Rockingham County.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, contractors are repaving a roughly three-mile stretch of Port Republic Road between Cross Keys Road and Pineville Road in the Mill Creek area.
Drivers should continue to expect traffic delays between the hours of 6:30 am and 6:30 pm as flaggers and pilot trucks control traffic through the work zone.
V-DOT says this milling, paving, shoulder-stone and pavement-marking operation is scheduled for completion May 9th.
