AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The North River Ranger District plans to conduct 103 acres of prescribed burning Monday in Augusta County.

Drivers should watch for warning signs and slow down near burn areas, especially at North River Road and FSR 85-5, and Little Bald Road and FSR 427.

Smoke may be visible from Sugar Grove and Brandywine, WV, as well as Staunton, Harrisonburg, and Briery Branch, VA. Use caution when driving through smoke.
