BRIDGEWATER VA: (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Emergency officials appeared to have breathed a sigh of relief over the weekend.
Crews responded to a report of a possible aircraft crash, between Oakwood Drive and Mount Crawford Avenue in the Bridgewater
area on Saturday evening.

According to the Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Company’s Facebook page, manpower was provided from Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, Bridgewater Rescue Squad,
Rockingham County Fire-Rescue, Bridgewater and Dayton Police Departments. After checking the area and making contact with many community members as well as the operator of the aircraft, it was determined to be not an emergency.
