HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — It appears that the City of Harrisonburg will not meet city council’s September 23rd deadline to consider The Link student housing project.
City Manager Ande Banks made the announcement during this week’s meeting where he said the facilitation team and developers will meet and hope to finalize the details on what the structure will look like in the next week and hold meetings by the end of September or early October.
Vice Mayor Dany Fleming said afterwards that if further changes to the developer’s plans require action from the Planning Commission, a decision by the council could be pushed back even further.
