Patricia Ann Taylor died peacefully in her home in Timberville, VA, on May 26, 2024. She was 81 years old.

She is survived by her sons Ronald of Timberville, VA, and Timothy (Shannon) of Phoenix, MD, as well as her sister, Nocha Whitten of Melbourne, FL. She has four grandchildren, Andrew, Alexandra, William, and Lily, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents Howard Young, Jr., and Pauline (Hall) Young, and her brothers Ronald and Darrell Young.

Pat was a graduate of the University of Maryland and was a long-time receptionist at The Langley School in McLean, VA. She also was a teacher and school aide in Anne Arundel County, MD, and Prescott, WI. She was well-traveled and lived in West Virginia, Germany, England, Texas, Maryland, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Pat was an avid reader and was strong in her faith. She will be remembered as a kind soul who loved her grandchildren, her garden, and her dogs.

Pat’s body was cremated, and services will be at a later date.
