PAGE COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) —  It appears that a homicide case that happened two and a half years ago in Page County has taken an interesting turn.

According to online records, Timothy Thomas Comer pleaded guilty to three amended charges of second-degree murder during a pre-trial hearing Wednesday in the circuit court.

In exchange, prosecutors elected not to pursue the other four charges that he faced.

Comer was scheduled to go to trial next month on first-degree murder charges in connection with the shooting death of 69-year-old Gregory Lee Williams in the Jollet Road area on June 29th of 2023.

He was arrested two weeks later following a manhunt involving local, state and federal authorities.

Comer is scheduled to be back in court for another hearing on January 21st.
