AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — One of the owners of Mr. BBQ in Fishersville was severely injured in a horse incident last week.

On the GoFundMe page that was organized by a community member, it states that Natalie Shifflett was involved in a traumatic event with a horse, resulting in a punctured lung, three broken vertebrae in her back, several cracked ribs, and other injuries.

The organizer is asking for donations from the community to help cover Shifflett’s medical bills and weekly expenses for the business since they will be down a food truck while she is recovering.
