BROADWAY, Va – (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Authorities arrested one man and are looking for two others in connection with a robbery that happened Sunday evening in Broadway.

According to a news release, officers with Broadway and Timberville Police, as well as deputies with the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, responded shortly before 7:30 to a robbery call in the 200 block of East Lee Street. The caller advised that he had video of three people coming into his garage and opening his car door.

In the video, one of the suspects was seen holding a pistol in his hand.

Officers then searched the area and located three people who matched the description of the suspects.

The suspects then tried to flee. However, officers were able to apprehend one of them.

He was an 18-year-old man who was carrying a pistol, brass knuckles and stolen property.

Authorities are still looking to identify the other two suspects, and they also remind folks to lock their vehicles and never leave valuables inside their vehicles.
