HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Harrisonburg Public Works says one lane of East Market Street will be closed this weekend into Tuesday.

Officials say the eastbound left lane on East Market Street between Carlton Street and I-81 will be closed starting Friday, March 27 and continue until Tuesday, March 31.

The closure will allow VDOT to place a shared use path on the East Market Street bridge. The road will remain open to through traffic, but delays should be expected.
