HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — OASIS Fine Art & Craft in Harrisonburg is looking to bring the community together to break a Guinness World Record in September.

In partnership with the Massanutten Regional Library, OASIS is hoping to break the record for the largest number of people working on a mosaic. The current record stands at 1,899 participants.

To help OASIS reach its goal, the Library is hosting Piece by Piece, where community members can drop in and add pieces to the mosaic contribution.

The event will take place on Thursday, September 4 from 6 to 8pm at Central Library in Harrisonburg.
