PAGE COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — A new sentencing date has been set for the Page County man who pleaded guilty last month in connection with a homicide case that happened back in 2023.

According to online records a circuit court judge set an August 19th sentencing date for Timothy Thomas Comer during a hearing yesterday afternoon.

Comer pleaded guilty on December 17th to three amended charges of second-degree murder in the shooting death of 69-year-old Gregory Lee Williams in the Jollet Road area on June 29th of 2023.

Comer was scheduled to go on trial this month when he reached the plea deal with prosecutors, who decided not to pursue the other four charges against him as part of that deal.
