WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) – Westwood Hills Elementary School is getting a new Assistant Principal.
Waynesboro Public Schools has announced that Rachel Henry has been appointed to the role, effective next Monday.
Henry is a James Madison University graduate with over two decades of experience in education, including service as a classroom teacher, instructional support specialist, and most recently as the Wayne Hills Preschool Center Intervention Specialist.
She was honored in 2015 as the Waynesboro Public School’s Teacher of the Year.
According to school officials, Henry is professionally known for her strong relationships with students, families, and staff; instructional leadership; and a collaborative, student-centered approach.
