The National Park Service is offering a 15-year concession contract opportunity at Big Meadows, Skyland, Elkwallow, Lewis Mountain and Loft Mountain at Shenandoah National Park.

The new contract is expected to begin January 1, 2026, and would offer lodging operation, food and beverage sales, retail, grocery, camper services, fueling stations, stable operations and four campgrounds.

The contractor is required to upgrade critical systems and restore historic structures. Among the improvements, visitors will notice expanded restroom facilities at Elkwallow Wayside and Loft Mountain Wayside.

The deadline for proposals is Thursday, November 7, 2024.
