MOUNT JACKSON, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – A Mount Jackson couple is in custody following an investigation of sexual abuse of children.

Shenandoah County Sheriff Tim Carter reported on the department’s Facebook page that his office received an online cyber tip last Thursday from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding an online account discussing sexual abuse of children and the potential sharing of the images.

Later that day, deputies conducted a search warrant in the 300 block of Lutz Hollow Road, resulting in the arrests of Gregory Allen Brill, 42, and Natasha Dawn Lavinia Bentley, both of Mount Jackson.

Brill was arrested on several charges, including with proposing sexual relations with a minor under 15 years old, while Bentley was charged with two counts of carnal knowledge with an animal.

Both are being held without bond at the Rappahannock Shenandoah Warren Regional Jail.
